Mesa Verde National Park

Mesa Verde contains over 600 cliff dwellings including multi-story and some with over 100 rooms. The area was used by the Anasazi from around 500 A.D. to 1300 A.D. The evidence of their use includes irrigation and agriculture and a variety of architectural styles. the site is similar in nature to that of the Chaco Culture
