The home of Thomas Jefferson, Monticello is a stunning example of neoclassical architecture. Coupled with the University of Virginia, also designed by Jefferson, it is a testament to a man with multiple skills. Thanks to a crowd funding campaign, inspirational work at Monticello and the University of Virginia Rotunda got underway the first week of April 2014. Coinciding with a performance at the Tom Tom Founders Fest, The Sunrise Review had the honor of creating a pop-up park(ing) space as part of the Piedmont Council for the Arts program. The UVA Rotunda was closed shortly after for renovations and will be closed for 2 years. You will see more activity around this site as time goes on.
