The Parks Project
The Parks Project is a local version of the concept executed in The Pacific Project. Started in 2011, The Parks Project brings the sustainable initiative and creative use of intriguing natural places by The Sunrise Review to the local parks around Portland, Oregon. This re-purposing of public open spaces is the next step for The Sunrise Review and provides the opportunity to engage a wider audience with the music as well as present sustainability in a unique and interesting way. Locations include Forest Park, a 5,100 acre urban forest located within Portland, and Mt. Tabor, a cinder cone from an extinct volcano located in Portland.
To celebrate 30 times around the sun for Graham, this project is intended to be given as a gift to Portland. It is currently looking for artists or ensembles who are interested in contributing 30 seconds towards helping reach a goal of 30 musicians. Sign up now!
